I may have a studio full of precious tools that I use everyday, but my hands are actually my most valuable and beloved tools. They are irreplaceable, they were gifted to me, they were made strong and are often quite dirty and beat up. These hands wrangled horses growing up, played music, and have created so much magic over the years. I love these hands and felt the need to honor them in the timeless form of metal.
These earrings have been slow crafted using sterling silver and Sonoran Gem Turquoise. The sterling silver has been oxidized to darken the metal. This patina should be maintained with a regular, light polishing.
*The jewelry should be treated like a one of a kind, handcrafted piece of art. That means no water, no rough housing and no chemicals!
